The project involved the conversion of a dilapidated stable building, into a semi-residential development to be used by The Manchester College. The building is situated within a Conservation Area, and as such, large areas of rebuilding which needed to take place due to structural issues, had to be painstakingly detailed and agreed with the Conservation Officer. Brick salvage and re-use was imperative, along with mortar matching, right down to the colour and size of the grit.
